Common questions

What is the standard bend radius (CLR) for each tube size?

The standard CLR is 6.220 in for 2.00 in and 1.75 in tube, 5.210 in for 1.50 in, 4.156 in for 1.25 in, and 3.126 in for 1.00 in and 0.50 in. Model to these and the part fits.

Does the CLR change with material?

The chart lists the same CLR for steel, aluminum and stainless tube at each outside diameter.

Can I use a non-standard CLR?

Yes, for some sizes: 4.650 in on 2.00 in, 4.156 in on 1.75 in, 3.620 in on 1.50 in, 7.720 in on 1.00 in and 1.500 in on 0.50 in. These are marked non-standard on the chart. The CLR in your CAD file must match the CLR that is bent.
