What to send so we can quote fast
A 3D CAD file
Parasolid (.x_t), STEP or IGES. A 3D solid model — not just a PDF drawing — is what drives the tube laser and the bender.
Material
Alloy and temper, not just "aluminum". Material drives cost, lead time and whether the part fits our cutting envelope at all.
Quantity
Prototype quantity and expected production quantity. Pricing changes substantially between one part and a hundred.
A drawing for anything critical
Call out critical dimensions, tolerances and finish. Anything left unstated has to be assumed, and assumptions cost time in planning.
Your required date
If a date matters, say so up front. Current department lead times are shown live on our home page.
